Abstract
Electrical power systems maintenance is recognized by NFPA 70E and NFPA 70B as critical to being able to work safely on or near electrical systems and equipment. Even though many upper-level managers think of maintenance as strictly an overhead function, the costs involved with a lack of maintenance can far exceed the outlay required to maintain power systems properly.
