Abstract :
This paper presents a research study on ideality concept in technological design. The research investigates the ideality signification and makes a distinction against different perceptions encountered in literature. It also proposes a measurement method to assess ideality of technological systems by taking advantage of the evaluation parameters and the action parameters disclosed during inventive design activities for developing new systems. This ideality assessment method is proposed as an effective and practicable method to measure ideality degree of the various technological systems and by turning a vaguely defined idealization into a concrete one.
