Abstract
The most recent developments in THz technology and new explorations show that THz waves are ideally suitable for the remote sensing and security applications. And unlike X-ray, THz waves do not penetrate living cell material and are completely safe for humans. In this paper, we describe the implementation of a 0.435 THz imaging system with 1 mm-scale resolution, which can successfully detect concealed objects. Our results indicate a promising future of THz technology development.
