Abstract
Aligning issues from technology management to corporate and business strategy requires a further aligning of these issues to strategic product planning as well. Aiming a first step regarding a future support for technology-oriented product planning, this paper clarifies, based on a literature search, which technology-related information is required from strategic product planning´s perspective and states the most required inputs which have to be provided by the technology management department within a company.
