Abstract :
The paper is dedicated to further development of control systems, based on generalized method of subordinate regulation, for drives with electromagnetically excited synchronous motor. Methodology provides typical dynamic features of control loop. As a partial case a drive is considered with converter and exciter that are close to current sources. The forming of voltage or current references by non-linear 3-dimensional regulator is considered. It is found that rotor oriented and field oriented control can provide close results with correct excitation control.
