Abstract
This paper deals with the problem of voltage security assessment in systems with distributed generation. The problem is approached by employing a neuro-fuzzy adaptive network that enables one to extract, from a bunch of data, the pieces of information necessary to assess any likely operating point. The bunch of data is originally obtained with the help of Monte Carlo simulation, when different generating conditions are taken into account. The results obtained by using the IEEE-14 bus system render the technique as effective.
