  • Abstract
The following paper describes structure of the Wireless Vehicle Weight Measurement System (WVWMS), which will be applied in the TULCOEMPA project. The introduction delivers key project objectives and assumptions for designed subsystems. Subsequently, generic structure of Wireless Vehicle Weight Measurement System is presented, followed by detailed module structure description, including several aspects, like communication, measurement method and power consumption. Applied wireless data exchange solution, used hardware and its relation to other subsystems of the module are provided. Next, weight measurement utilizing strain gauges and dedicated hardware are briefly described. Moreover, aspects concerning energy consumption due to selective subsystem power cut-off are discussed in short.
