Abstract
Circuit breakers with phase selection are used to switch capacitor banks of reactive compensation device in Anji substation of 1000kV Huainan-Shanghai UHV AC demonstration project in China. The application experience of capacitor bank beaker with phase selection is introduced, including the analysis of the control strategy and control parameters, the simulation of surge current during making capacitor banks and the tests of phase selection performance in field.
