Abstract
In a deregulated market, with the differences of location, the generation power form each plant have different network loss levels and the injecting power make distinct "quality". It is desirable to take network loss into account while applying market-clearing mechanism. In this paper a novel economic dispatch is proposed, which involves the utilization rate into account at the time of day-ahead trade planning. The IEEE 30-bus test system is used to demonstrate the proposed method and simulation results show that it could offer more equitable market clearing results and reduces total purchasing money.
