  • Abstract
    Original industrial RS485 communication is difficult to effectively transfer partial discharge waveform because of the large amount of data. Intelligent electronic devices (IED) based on IEC61850 standard has just begun. The requirement of High data acquisition and transmission for GIS´s PD online monitoring system is analyzed in this article. According to the IEC61850 (edition 2), the model of GIS´s PD online monitoring system is build, the system framework and communication system is given. Based on MMS Client/Server mode, the transmission of warning message, measuring information and PD waveform is realized. The experimental results indicate that communication of GIS´s PD online monitoring system can be achieved. 20ms partial discharge waveform file transfer takes 1.982 seconds, 2.1% of RS485 communication.
