Abstract :
For the specific 4 towers with V-type insulator extending to tower body for Hami-Zhengzhou ± 800kV UHVDC transmission project, live working security analysis is carried out, the required minimum safe distance and the minimum combined gap distance under various working conditions are calculated, which determines the way to getting in and out of the equipotential of the tower with V-type insulator extending to tower body, in addition, the safety distance is also checked under the condition of different working locations, according to the checked results, appropriate measures are proposed to take when the air gap distance does not meet the risk rate requirement, which makes a great significance for the operation, maintenance and spreading of tower with V-type insulator extending to tower body.
