  • Abstract
Power system event data is an important guarantee of power systems\´ safe and stable operation, but research on power system event data is comparatively slow. COMFEDE has defined the description and exchange of power system event data as a format which is based on XML. This paper explains the language form and organizational structure of COMFEDE. According to power system event key factors and COMFEDE mapping relations, the paper also puts forward a configuration model named "5W", which supports to construct an event data model. Then a representation approach is proposed to display COMFEDE data. Power system event data in COMFEDE format will be conveniently viewed with the help of Extensible Stylesheet Language (XSL). The proposed configuration model and representation approach will greatly facilitate users.
