Abstract
In order to study the impact of the stochastic wind power on transient stability. This paper proposed a new approach to model power systems as stochastic differential algebraic equations(SDAEs). The Ito stochastic differential equation models the rotor motion equation of wind turbine, expanding the traditional DAE model into SDAE model. Then aim at the new model, proposed a new stochastic time domain simulation algorithms and transient stability criterion. The WECC 3-machine-9-Bus connected wind power system is used to illustrate the impact of the stochastic wind power on power system transient stability at every moment.
