Abstract :
The whole scene intelligent substation test method, which utilizes electromagnetic transient simulation, GPS synchronization, and the wireless signal transmission methods, integrates the merges unit and network switches into the scope of test, overcoming the defects of traditional test methods, hence significantly improves the efficiency and capacity of the testing in the secondary system of intelligent substation. This paper firstly reviews the whole scene method, and then analyzes the defects of the damping trapezoidal method in electromagnetic transient simulation algorithm. The backward Euler method is recommended for use in such cases. And the detailed electromagnetic transient simulation step is proposed. The simulation results are compared with PSCAD, and it is shown that the proposed algorithm which is accurate and reliable is satisfied the needs of the whole scene intelligent substation test.
