Abstract :
With the development of information technology, the video services have become one of the most prevalent services in the era. Meanwhile, mobile TV technology has gradually become much more mature in China. In this paper, we first introduce the network architecture of TD-MBMS (Time Division - Multimedia Broadcast Multicast Service) and CMMB (China Mobile Multimedia Broadcasting). Then, we propose an algorithm for radio resource allocation in the converged CMMB and TD-MBMS networks. Performance of the proposed algorithm is analyzed and evaluated based on numerical simulations. The results show that the proposed algorithm has the potential to be used in the real converged networks.
