Abstract :
The dynamic equivalent model of large-scale wind farms is the basis of wind power system stability analysis. This paper presents a novel approach of DFIGs grouping and clustering. The proposed approach takes the differences of triggered control strategies and initial operating points as the grouping indexes. Besides, compared with the conventional equivalent analysis, this paper comprehensively analyses the effect of various influencing factors on doubly-fed wind farm modeling. Simulation results show that the clustering criterion is reasonable, and the equivalent model can accurately reflect the dynamic characteristics of the detailed model.
