Abstract
DC microgrid is an efficient solution for integration of multiple Distributed Generations (DGs) and loads. The stability of DC system can be influenced by different kinds of loads. In this paper, the small signal model is established for DC microgrid with multi-type of loads. Lyapunov Stability Theory is applied to investigate the dynamic stability of DC microgrid. Traces of eigenvalues demonstrate that high portion of Constant Power Loads (CPL) may bring negative effect to DC microgrid while Constant Current Loads (CCL) has little influence.
