Abstract
The optimization of grid arrangement in Quantum Cellular Automata (QCA) chain is discussed. An arrangement is proposed to enhance the total switching power consumption along the wire while keeping the quality of transferred data. This arrangement is based on a reconstructive design which is a promising technique for reducing switching power dissipation. Compare to conventional arrangement of QCA wire, our proposed adiabatic arrangement has an improvement of switching power dissipation for signal traveling. We have also showed that our technique requires less amount of QCA in a wire compare to previous designs, it makes the real implementation of our design easier due to the required nanometer distance between the cells.
