Abstract :
In recent years, few Chinese hospitals introduced operation mode named day surgery, This paper concerns that the introduction of day surgery has an impact on patients, we put forward a question whether carrying out day surgery will reduce waiting time for admission. This paper put forward a hypothesis: carrying out day surgery reduces waiting time for admission. We collect datum related to Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy (LC) and analyze it, next we conduct an empirical study. In order to establish an econometric mode paper analyzes the factors affecting waiting time for admission, then using actual datum to conduct regression analysis. Finally, analyze empirical results and discuss it. Final conclusion is that carrying out day surgery indeed has something to do with reducing the waiting time for admission.
