  • Abstract
Generally speaking, the organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) of employees and the degree of organizational socialization play significant roles in job performance and employees´ feelings. In this research, an empirical tracking study was conducted. First, two OCB dimensions were measured on campus. Second, four organizational socialization dimensions were measured in the workplace. Five months later, subjective well-being and job performance were measured in the workplace as well. Thereafter, the effect of the OCB on subjective well-being and job performance was analyzed, regarding the organizational socialization as an intermediate variable. Based on the 86 samples, the following conclusions were reached: (1) the OCB of undergraduates on campus has a positive effect on their subjective well-being and job performance in the workplace, (2) organizational Socialization has a fully mediating effect on the relationship between OCB and subjective well-being, and (3) organizational Socialization has a partially mediating effect on the relationship between OCB and job performance.
