The Research of County Urbanization and County Economy Development - Based on 44 Agricultural Counties in Liaoning Province

The level of county urbanization is very important to the development of county economy. This The paper based on the data of 44 agricultural counties of old industrial base-Liaoning province to analyze the mechanism of how county urbanization acting on county economy development theoretically and empirically. The results show that: (1) on theory, county urbanization promotes the development of county economy via expanding domestic consumer market, adjusting the industrial structure, forming a economic growth pole and popularizing urban civilization, (2) on empirical, the impetus that county urbanization level doing to county economy development of Liaoning province is significant. Based on the results, the paper proposed suggestions, such as trengthening the construction of towns planning, speeding up the town industrial development and carrying out sustainable urbanization development.
