Abstract
Transient stability calculations is known to be difficult and time consuming process. Evolution of power system analysis software offers new possibilities in automation of trivial tasks. Concerning transient stability a perfect task for automatic calculation is determination of critical clearing time (CCT). This paper shows the application of CCT for transient stability calculations for large scale systems in term of examination of expansion states.
