Abstract :
Accuracy and dynamic response were the main characteristics of FOG, which largely depended on signal conditioning of light path and circuits. For analyzing the relationship between the two characteristics and signal conditioning, impacts on accuracy and dynamic response by sampling parameters were analyzed. To some extent, the two characteristics restrict each other, and for harmonizing the relationship between the two characteristics, the analog filter was put to use for sharing responsibility for digital signal processing, with a novel scheme, named sample-hold analog low-pass filter (SHF), proposed on the premise that the traditional scheme had its shortages. Then, mechanism for SHF was illustrated by the portions given in the text, and simulated for analyzing the additional error with large disturbance. Finally, the accuracy and dynamic characteristics of closed-loop were analyzed with different depth of SHF filtering in the experiment. The simulation and experiment verify the theory, and also give a reference for the closed-loop measurement system design of FOG.
