Abstract :
High-resolution aerial camera needs to cache position controlling parameters and large amounts of image data, pointing at this issue, a SDRAM controller used in high-speed and large-capacity caching system is researched. Firstly, the necessity of caching image data in high-resolution aerial camera is explained. Based on the feature of the CMOS outputted data format and character of SDRAM element, a SDRAM controller based on position parameter error correction algorithm and frame type arbitration and Ping-Pong storage strategy is proposed. Secondly, position controlling parameter is very important in follow up process, to reduce the possibility of error, the ECC (6, 6) error correction code algorithm is used. Finally, the system is experimented on the High-resolution aerial camera prototype, the result shows that the controller can work normally in 110MHz frequency in the extremely terrible temperature, accessing speed of the controller is up to 440MBps. Meeting the requirement of stability and efficiency in caching image data and position parameters.
