Abstract :
A photonic time-stretched analog-to-digital converter with suppression of dispersion-induced power fading is proposed using polarization modulation. A 32-GHz single-tone input, which should undergo the largest dispersion impairment, is experimentally stretched by a factor of ~9.5.
