Abstract :
We propose using an optical fiber cable to monitor distributed vibration changes. The cable connects a vibration point sensor based on a twin fiber Bragg grating (FBG) interferometer operating in reflection to its interrogation unit that locks a narrowband DFB laser to the central interference fringe.
