            Abstract :
In this study, we investigate the effect of a porous metal electrode that can conduct water on water tree propagation. The results show that the water trees obtained using the porous metal electrodes propagate further than those obtained using a normal water electrode. Therefore, we consider a potential distribution using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) in the normal water electrode and porous metal electrode.
