Abstract
The electrical characteristics during discharge with increased voltage on tap water and saline solution were investigated. The spark voltage gives different values for both liquid of every applied voltage. This was also observed in the current peak. The comparison shows a different inclination in voltage at discharge electrode, and also different decrease time of current between the two liquids. The relation between the discharge condition on water surface and the spark voltage can be observed from the results.
