Title :
Keynote address: “Clutter diversity: A new degree of freedom in multistatic radar”
Author_Institution :
University of College London
Abstract :
Recent experimental results have shown that the statistical properties of bistatic radar clutter are a function of the bistatic geometry. This suggests that it should be possible to choose the bistatic geometry to best exploit this effect. This idea has been named “clutter diversity.” The presentation will elaborate on the effect, and the improvement in performance that its exploitation may bring.
