Plenary address: “A Radar Cambrian Explosion?”

Seemingly overnight, there is a veritable geometric explosion in the diversity of new radar architectures, machine intelligence, signal processing, and enabling technologies. This “Radar Cambrian Explosion” is opening up entirely new fields of research and development, as well as new multi-function capabilities. This talk will modestly survey each of the new radar “phyla”, and contemplate the ramifications both theoretically and from an applications perspective.
