Abstract
This paper presents a compact wideband notch antenna fed by a thin suspended-line transition instead of a basic microstrip-to-slot transition. The antenna covers the frequency band of 1.58-2.78GHz with a minimum of 50%-total efficiency and 0dBi-gain. Wireless standards as DCS-1800, IMT-2000, WiFi b/g/n and LTE (7 and 38 bands) are all covered efficiently.
