Abstract
Range cell migration (RCM) correction is a key procedure in dim maneuvering target detection. Keystone transform (KT) has been employed to correct linear RCM of moving target. In this paper, we take the nonlinear RCM caused by radial acceleration into consideration and extend the original KT. Thus, a novel method based on extended KT (EKT) for maneuvering target detection is proposed. After EKT processing, the RCM is eliminated closely and the target´s power integration can be obtained using 2D-NUFFT. A numerical simulation is performed to demonstrate the validity of the proposed algorithm.
