Abstract :
In the paper we present an efficient technique for parameterized human body model, which not only utilizes the proportional transformation as most of the previous work have done, but also concentrates on partial transformation about critical parts. Based on the standard template model, various body sizes can be generated by changing of feature parameters. Moreover, we employed physic characteristics including thickness and girth on corresponding body parts to realize different shapes. The interpolation methods include cardinal and sinusoidal are used to guarantee the continuity of the whole body. As the result, we can generate more personalized mannequins to satisfy the demand of animation and virtual fitting system.
