            Abstract :
In the present work, the third-order nonlinear optical response of some polymer/Pd hybrid systems is investigated using 35 ps, 532 nm laser excitation. Two different nanohybrid systems have been prepared, namely a poly(vinyl pyrrolidone) stabilized palladium colloid and a micellar system consisting of a CbzEMAx-b-AEMAy diblock copolymer system with a metallic Pd core. The variation of the copolymers length allowed the tuning of Pd nanoparticles size, resulting in changing their nonlinear optical response.
