Abstract
High-frequency permeability spectra of Sendust (Fe-Al-Si alloy) granular composite materials have been studied by the numerical analysis using magnetic resonance formulas The relaxation type frequency dispersion characteristics of permeability were obtained for Sendust composite material. Sendust composite shows insulating property for the particle content up to at least 60 vol.%, indicating that the embedded Sendust particles have high surface electrical resistivity. Thus the eddy current effect can be neglected over the microwave frequency range.
