Abstract :
This paper provides an overview of a computer aided design orientated education in a field of analog microelectronic IC design in Finnish universities and particular in the University of Oulu. The Computer aided circuit design course in the University of Oulu is analysed in detail - what is the background knowledge before the studies, how the course is set up, and what are the means used in the education.
