Abstract :
This paper analyses the possibility of using the low-potential heat from a surface of power transformers. The authors discuss the production of electricity by means of thermoelectric modules. The feasibility of usage of thermoelectric modules was analyzed by carrying out theoretical calculations and a series of experimental test, which gave a clear view of capability of an application of thermoelectric modules for recovering of low-potential heat of power transformers.
