  • Abstract
    Tire is the most important equipment, especial drive on the road. To increase friction and safety, variant treads are in the surface of tire. However, the friction and safety is decrease, while the tread worn. This study proposed Texture Based Region of Interested (TBRI) algorithm to evaluate ROI which bound the specific textures that is suitable to evaluate the status of tread worn by Discriminative Robust Local Ternary Pattern (DRLTP). Consequently, the study proposed a computer vision technology to inspect the status of the tread.
