Abstract :
An Internet-based security monitoring platform including a server and some clients is described in this paper for multimedia content authentication. Contents existed in the database of the server, can be discovered by the video hash copy detection technology and will be prevented from uploading. Watermark can be embedded into the videos when they are uploaded to the server in order to protect the copyright. Such embedded watermark is able to be extracted on the client to determine copyright information after requiring a video from the server and playing it. The proposed system can be implemented on different kinds of devices, which is irrelevant to hardware.
