  • Abstract
    Gas detection apparatus based on SAW/GC was gained by combining Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) gas sensor with gas chromatography (GC). Because of its features as high sensitivity, more detectable gas types and resolution of crossed-interference, the SAW/GC gas detection apparatus is perfect for the gas composition analysis in the complicated atmosphere background especially. In this paper, the main influence factors of sensitivity and detection limit of the instrument were analyzed firstly. Then the response mechanism, SAW detector and chromatographic separation system were introduced and designed. Finally the experiment results were described and analyzed.
