Abstract :
This study aimed to come up with an organization development model building a positive attitude towards it integrated in teaching and learning for an educational institution, using a strengths-based focus approach. The objectives of this research study are as follows: 1) determine the challenges encountered by the managers, faculty, staff and students in terms of systems and procedures, communication, timeliness and quality of services, understanding of roles and responsibilities, and curriculum and instruction; 2) find out the driving forces that foster the need for IT integrated organizational development; 3) find out the significant difference in the responses of the managers, faculty, staff and students in terms of systems and procedures, communication, timeliness and quality of services, understanding of roles and responsibilities, and curriculum and instruction; 4) Propose a Positive Organization Development Model Integrating Information Technology to Teaching and Learning to achieve the desired status of Mabalacat City College as cited by the respondents and 5) Finalize the Positive Organization Development Model Integrating Information Technology to Teaching and Learning for an educational institution. This action research study used quantitative - qualitative or mixed mode research design. An appreciative inquiry approach was utilized to establish the strengths and capabilities of the managers, faculty and staff. All the managers, faculty, and staff were taken as respondents. In addition, thirty per cent (30%) of the students were taken as participants using stratified random sampling. A researcher-constructed questionnaire and interview guide were used as research tools. Focused group discussion and documents review were also be employed.
