Abstract :
The core dataset is Medicare´s Hospital Compare dataset with its HCAHPS patient satisfaction rankings for hospitals nationwide. Contestants are free to add other public data to enhance their analysis. Entries will be judged on how well they answer the Hackathon question ´What factors are associated with high or low patient satisfaction?´ plus any additional insights that were gained, technical depth, creativity (especially leveraging additional datasets), and the clarity of explanation and presentation. Contestants may use any analytic tools they wish.
