  • Abstract
    A direct single stage single-phase to three-phase conversion has been realized using a cycloinverter (CI) capable of generating high frequency output voltage required by high speed motors, eliminating the requirement of dc link capacitor in two stage conversion. A three phase induction motor drive is run using single phase to thee phase cycloinverter. Space vector PWM controller has been developed using MATLAB Simulink and three phase induction motor has been taken as test load using ANSYS MAXWELL.
