Abstract :
This paper presents a new circuit topology for electromagnetic stirring (EMS) systems based on Z-Source inverter that can boost voltage while lowers the harmonic distortion of rectifier input current. Z-Source modulation index can control the output voltage of inverter proportional with load changing in EMS systems. Simulations were carried out and the results show the performance of proposed circuit topology.
