Abstract :
Small cell is a promising solution for the future wireless solution. Its use cases and challenges are discussed. Then the small cells backhaul options are reviewed and the Common Packet Radio Interface (CPRI) over Optical Transport Network (OTN) is proposed as an important scheme.
