Abstract
This paper discusses the problem of Electric vehicle charging procedure based on ISO/IEC 15118 international standard and proposes a new mechanism for advanced charging procedure. There are various charging scenario which can be differ from the vehicle models when we charging the EV (Electric vehicle). Those kinds of charging scenario can result in charging time delay and inefficiency because we have to set again the charging scenario every charging time. In this paper we propose the vehicle charging information profile (VCIP). By applying the VCIP, we can receive our own charging scenario which can be different from car manufacturers or car models when we charge the EV. And because we don´t have to follow all charging service procedure given by SECC, we can avoid meaningless charging procedure and save overall time. Previously, charging service was only set by service provider. But, VCIP can make the user-oriented charging services by controlling the charging procedure. In addition, VCIP service using cloud environment can access VCIP without being tied to time and place.
