Abstract :
Wireless broadband access is a crucial part of any carrier and enterprise network. It has been a big argument among expertise which type of technology should be leveraged to fulfill the business needs. They argue which of the broadband technology is the best fit to propose solution and based on which criteria the right technology should be selected. In this paper we have elaborated on five key technologies consist of: Wi-Fi, WiMAX, 3G, 4G and 5G. First of all the key features and specification of each has been explained. Then we have justified when and where each of them is the best choice.
