Abstract
Wireless sensor networks (WSN) refers to a group of spatially dispersed and dedicated sensors which have limited resources, bandwidth and communication capabilities. WSN have many applications like environment monitoring, health monitoring, battlefield surveillance for military etc. Due to the resource constraint and less communication power secure communications is not possible. Many key management schemes have been proposed. In this paper, some important matrix based key management schemes have been discussed and their comparative analysis have been done. At last, we use the multi-criteria decision analysis (MCDA) methods like weighted sum model (WSM) and weighted product model (WPM) to decide the best key management scheme for different case scenario.
