Abstract
X-Ray is boon for medical practitioner as it helps in identifying the patient medical situation. Noise is the disturbance which gets on the medical images easily (due to blood flow problem, due to internal instruments problem, etc) and alter the image with unknown parameter. The aim of this paper is to improve the quality of X-Ray image using various linear filters. This paper is an overview of effective linear filtering method to obtain enhanced image or improved image from distorted image. Experimental results on medical image will illustrate the performance of all the filters studied.
