Abstract :
The paper deals with the modeling of the magnetic materials used for electrical machines. The model proposed is able to simulate the magnetization processes of the NOG and OG steels which are usually used in the magnetic core of electrical motors, generators and transformers. For the validation of the model we present some experiments about the prediction of transformer inrush currents, in particular the simulation results are compared with the measurements.
